Coffee filter flowers, verse and bird carve

Another take on the coffee filter paper...
Ironed the filter flat, inked it with a background stamp.
Cut spiral flowers and leaves from it. Also used cashmere dryer lint for
the nest under the bird!  Branch is watercolor crayon.

Love it! And love your recycled nest. It's the sort of thing I would do. I look at the dryer filter and think, mmmmmmmmmm what could I do with this? Keep up the great work!

Thanks EllenaElizabeth,
Sure do appreciate you taking a look! Yes, the dryer lint was fun to use, so very soft.
Do you carve? That has been a passion of mine for the last several years. Then, it follows, I have to make a card from what I have carved!

Hi no I do not carve. I'm a textile and paper hound....LOL I love setting up vignettes in my garden too, using old rusted objects. I love your work.

Thank you! I really appreciate your taking a look and glad that you enjoy my work. I like to use handmade paper and have fun with some cattail fiber paper that my daughter's and I made. I would love to share some with you to use in your card making if you like, just send me an e-mail with where to send it and I would love to hear what you think of it!!
Blessings!
