Colorful card, carving

Made this thank you card
for a friend using
a stamp that I have recently carved.
Used torn paper for leaves
and stems.

Love this stamp you have created. Plus I love the colours you used. Did you use copic markers? I don't have any as yet. Bought some inkadinkdo markers recently have you used these and if so what do you think and do you think they are comparable to the copics? The price of the copics made me baulk...because I did not know if I would get enough use out of them, it's not like I stamp for a living.

Thanks, Ellena! I appreciate you taking a look. Yes, I have used Copic's, but I do not own any. Like you,I am not willing to invest in something that pricey that I am not going to use very often. No, I have not tried the other markers that you mentioned. Believe it or not, I tend to use very good colored pencils. Even though they can be pricey, they are still so much cheaper than the C. markers. I just use a light touch and build the color to the depth I want. I also like to use Lyra brand watercolor crayons, have you ever tried those? I am curious, how did you come across my blog? I know I commented on your blog, but the little quilt is so charming! Bye for now.
